Terms of use
The short version
- somedayy isn’t available yet. This website lets you join the founding list.
- A founding number holds your place in line. It isn’t a purchase, a contract for the app, or a promise of any price or perk.
- somedayy is a wellness tool, not therapy or medical care. If you’re in crisis, contact local emergency services right away.
- Questions: hello@somedayy.app.
Who we are
somedayy (“we”, “us”) runs the website at somedayy.app. Its two co-founders, Krish Kahnani and Areeb Hayat, operate it as individuals from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By using this website or joining the founding list, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website.
Who can join
You must be at least 18 years old to join the founding list. Please give us an email address that belongs to you.
The founding list
- Joining is free. Your founding number shows the order in which you joined.
- A place on the list doesn’t guarantee access by a certain date, any particular feature, price or offer, or that the app will launch in your country or on your phone.
- We describe founding perks in good faith, but we may change or withdraw them before launch. If we do, we’ll tell the people on the list.
- We may remove signups that look automated, duplicated, fake or abusive. Removing them may change other people’s numbers.
- You can leave the list at any time by emailing us or by using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Invite links
After you join, you get a personal invite link to share. Please share it only with people who might want it, and don’t spam, buy signups, or use fake or automated accounts. We record who joined through your link, but inviting people doesn’t earn you money or change your number unless we say otherwise in writing.
Using the website
Please don’t:
- break the law, or violate other people’s rights, while using the website;
- try to break into, overload, scrape, or interfere with the website or the founding list;
- sign up other people without their permission, or pretend to be someone else.
Not medical or mental-health care
somedayy offers reflection and affirmations for everyday wellbeing. It isn’t therapy, counselling, medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it doesn’t replace a qualified professional. The voice on this website is an AI-generated narrator reading sample lines.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself: in the US, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline); in India, call Tele-MANAS on 14416; anywhere else, contact your local emergency services.
Our content
The somedayy name, logo, design, text, audio and video on this website belong to us or our licensors. You may view and share links to the website for personal use. Please don’t copy, sell or reuse its content without our written permission.
Other services
The website relies on other companies’ services (for example, hosting, fonts and the founding-list database), and it may link to other websites and social networks. Those services and websites have their own terms, and we’re not responsible for them.
No warranties
The website and the founding list are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we don’t promise that the website will always be available, error-free or secure, or that the app will launch on any particular date or with any particular features.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, that comes from your use of the website or the founding list. Because joining is free, our total liability for any claim about them is limited to INR 1,000 (or about USD 12). Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, or takes away any rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms as somedayy grows. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date, and if a change is significant, we’ll also email the people on the list. The app will have its own terms when it launches.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts. Please email us first; most things can be sorted out quickly.
